Main_Image_1My collection first started when I was a young kid and my mum and step dad bought me my first Scalextric car and I was instantly hooked. We had a circuit set up in the loft which we called "Charlton Brook Race Circuit" and we would only go up if I was well behaved.

My collection slowly grew until the point where my step dad left and took all the track with him so I had nowhere to use my cars. Me and my step dad kept in contact and when he got his own place we set another circuit up in his loft and as we had more room my collection grew rapidly. As I love trucks I concentrated on collecting 1 of each Scalextric truck until I had every one.

Me and my step dad lost contact when he met his new girlfriend and they moved in together so my collection has now been moved back to mine and sits happily on 4 long shelves.

Main_Image_2For years I had seen the Tamiya 1/14 scale Trucks and loved how realistic they were so as soon as the bank offered me an overdraft I took the offer up. I ordered a Tamiya King Hauler with Multi Function Unit and a flatbed trailer, then I started modifying it. For more information click King Hauler on the left. I love this little truck but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to get an overdraft to pay for one, wish I didn't but I wouldn't sell it.

A new section to Dan's Garage is the Pimp My Wheelchair Project which with help from various companies/communities (ICELED, SourceCars, Litewave & Sheffield Forum) we have pimped out a NHS wheelchair and I now use it to help raise money for charity.
